Dr. Marcus A. Chanay, a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, has an impressive background in academia and business. He has served as a Professor in Higher Education, Vice President for Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Campus Operations, and holds degrees from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Jackson State University. Dr. Chanay's expertise includes research, curriculum development, strategic planning, and securing external resources.
As President/COO of B1 Ventures and Holdings, Inc., Dr. Chanay oversees a diverse portfolio of companies, including B1 Nursing Care, a home health agency, and the B1 Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on raising scholarship dollars and supporting healthcare initiatives. He is also the Principle Managing Partner/CEO for the Mid-South Sports and Education Group.
Dr. Chanay's commitment to education and community service is evident through his involvement in various boards and organizations, including Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the National Black Chamber of Commerce, and 100 Black Men of Jackson, Inc.
