Mississippi MOVE Roll 2 The Polls on Election Day

Mississippi MOVE Vote Election Day

As Election Day approaches on March 12, 2024, Mississippi Black Pages (MBP) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Mississippi MOVE, Inc. to ensure that every citizen has access to the polls. Together, we are committed to removing barriers to voting and empowering communities across Gulfport, Hattiesburg, and Metro Jackson to exercise their democratic right.

Why Your Vote Matters

At MBP, we believe that active civic engagement is essential for building thriving communities and shaping the future of our state. Every vote has the power to influence policies, elect representatives, and drive positive change in our society. As business owners and entrepreneurs, your voices matter, and your participation in the electoral process is crucial for advancing the interests of our community.

Providing Access to the Polls

Unfortunately, many individuals face obstacles when it comes to accessing polling locations, whether due to transportation challenges, work schedules, or other barriers. That's why MBP and Mississippi MOVE, Inc. are joining forces to provide rides to the polls on Election Day. Mississippi MOVE Roll 2 The Polls is transportation assistance, ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot and make their voice heard.

Important Election Information

This election is a primary election for President, United States House of Representatives, and United States Senate. The party primary elections will take place on March 12, with a runoff scheduled for April 2nd if necessary. The 2024 General Election is set for November 5th.

Polls are open on election days in Mississippi from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Voters must present a valid form of photo identification in order to cast a ballot at their assigned polling location. Find out more about what you should know prior to heading to the polls at www.msmove.org/vote or Yall Vote.
